Six Flags Great America 2011 Trip Report
Sept. 20, 2011

I wouldn't ride it if you paid me, but mad props for theming up a tea-cup spinner the way they did.

Muy caliente!

Then it was on to ride with the devil. "Turn of the Century" was a nice name back in the day, but I'm glad they added the two loops and the "scary" theming to this Arrow classic. (The blood-red Play-Doh® logo just kills me.)

What would be a very ordinary ride is made special with the black structure and the "rock work." And what says "Demon" better than bright, rainbow-colored trains?

Granted, this yellow train isn't a whole lot better. Can't they all just be black, fer cryin' out loud? But I really dug the loop with the rocky center. Very cool.

This stuff, and all the tunnels, just great. Tunnels and roller coasters go together like chocolate and peanut butter, which is to say, awesomely so.

Even the corkscrews were pretty smooth. Yeah, I liked this ride a ton.

Without a doubt, though, demons were involved in the deal to slap this offensive garbage all over the trains. I will dance quite happily on the grave of this whole program when it finally dies the awful death it deserves.

(By the way, I'm not sure if you were aware, but Stride Gum is made from spider eggs and road kill. Just FYI.)
