New York City Photo Trip Report – Part 3
Wild Bill's Dark Ride Paradise

August 6, 2012

Some more random highlights: this is a portrait of P. T. Barnum, showman extraordinaire.

Wild Bill not only sells posters, but makes them, too, printing them on an ever-rarer Heidelberg press, like they used to in the olden days. A lot of the posters are "show prints," like the samples he's displaying above...

...and these as well. You can also buy them in places like Rocket Fizz.

HELL YES.

A model of a carnival, made by a carny owner who's a friend of Wild Bill's, if I'm remembering correctly. And Count Chocula, who is everybody's friend.

I'm more of a pinball man, myself, but Centipede was a pretty hellacious video game. I lost a few layers of skin under Centipede trackballs way back when.

See, this is more to my liking, a decades-old Bally machine. (King Kong and poker, sure, why not?)
