West Coast Bash 2012 - Knott's Berry Farm, Day Two
March 4, 2012

Another angle on the crew car, where you can see the benches for folks to sit on.

At the far end of the building was a depot where a couple of engines were stored.

This one had its boiler open for viewing. Some people even climbed in there.

To think that these grand machines were once the sole form of long-distance, high-speed transport. Amazing.

There's living history in here, just another reason Knott's Berry Farm is one of a kind.

The more time I spent in the roundhouse, the more I wished we still did use these old steam-driven wonders to get around. They are majestic.
