Orlando 2011 Trip Report

And also, the Wizarding World is amazing.

If you haven't been yet, I'm sure you've seen about a bazillion pictures of this entire area. That won't stop me from boring you up with a few more.

I'm not a Harry Potter super-fan, so I didn't have an orgasmic seizure when we first entered Hogsmeade, but I can understand how some might. It's really beautiful. And Butterbeer? Totally lives up to the hype. Smooth, creamy, butterscotchy, heavenly. "Frozen" was very, very delish, but a regular pour is the best way to let your tongue have its "special time" with the stuff.

While I'm sure the crowds are nowhere near as bad as they were when WWoHP first opened, the place is still mighty popular.

But if you're there right at opening (and off-peak), you can have a moment or two when it's not crawling with muggles.

The detail everywhere is superlative.

Did the actual movie sets look this good? Possibly. But they didn't look better, I'd wager.
