Orlando 2011 Trip Report
Nov. 22, 2011

Don't mind if I do! NOMNOMNOM!

This was the first Howl-O-Scream maze we hit, and of all that I explored this Halloween season, Zombie Mortuary is probably the one that made me scream the hardest. Super-freaking mega-scary. Great job, BGT!

Nevermore was the first of the weekend's TWO mazes themed to the writings of Edgar Allan Poe and named "Nevermore." There's some irony there, I think.

Ravens, Lenore, get it? A very cool exterior and a very cool maze.

Not the best maze of Howl-O-Scream, but not bad, either. Great set design with lots of what looked to be real one-armed bandits and stuff.

In a contest for "Best Maze Exteriors," Universal Studios Hollywood wins. But BGT did a very nice job, too.

I think I liked Night Shade Toys more than anyone else in our party. Creepy dolls are creepy. Plus, walking through the room of drafting tables spoke to me as a designer. (Even though I haven't sat behind a drafting table since the Thompson Twins was a Top 40 band.)
