The Thursday morning of my visit, I decided to go see the 9/11 Memorial. Reservations are still required, but no longer need to be made much in advance; I got my ticket the same day.

More than ten years out, and it still seems hard to believe it all happened. My high school graduation dinner was at "The Windows On The World" restaurant.

I am very fortunate that I did not know anyone well who died in any of the attacks, but one of the financial services clients of the ad agency I worked for was based in the towers.
