New York City Photo Trip Report – Part 4
The High Line

August 20, 2012

I don't know what this plant is, but I approve of its alien weirdness.

More of the original train tracks, functioning as nifty planters.

On a hot summer day, you can kick off your shoes and cool your heels in this "flat fountain."

Kids love this. So cute.

There are places to sit all along The High Line, but one section includes some prime napping stations. These wood chaise lounges face west, and with little visual obstruction, you can watch the sun set over the Hudson River.

The New York Times, a cup of coffee, yeah, I could spend many a lazy Sunday morning here.

Some of the people who live in apartments that face The High Line have embraced the fact that they are now part of The High Line. The painting in the window on the far right is full of win, lulz and awesome.
