Gilroy Gardens

The Pinnacles Rock Maze is good for a few laffs.
Don't expect to get lost for hours, but 'sfun, still.
There are enough dead ends to make the maze a little challenging.
Before we get to the coaster business, here are a few more garden-related tidbits. First, here's the grandaddy of the Circus Trees:
This one's located next to the park's Lakeside Amphitheater. I can't even begin to imagine the time and effort it took to pull that off.
And if you were going to spend any time in just one garden, I'd recommend the enclosed Monarch Garden.
This climate-controlled greenhouse features all kinds of non-native plants and stuff, so it's the most exotic of the flora offerings. The best way to get a close look at everything is on foot, but a monorail ride cruises through from above and the train ride passes through, too.
There's lot's of jungle-like atmosphere, with plenty of rockwork, streams, etc.
Here's the monorail track snaking through the abundant growth.
There's this mini Circus Tree with a shout-out to park founder Michael B.
Nice waterfall.
Some of the plants have helpful descriptive signage.
