I hear Dollywood puts on a beautiful show around Christmas and I'd love to see it some time, but boy, I sure wish they'd take a shot at a Halloween event (a pipe dream, I know). The potential here is enormous.

We didn't see but a moment or two of Dollywood's award-winning shows, and that's also on the long list of reasons to return.

And the food, oh yes, they've won awards for the food, too. Some of us had the chicken buffet dinner one night and that was swell, but the chow they prepare on these oversized skillets is something else.

Unless you are a strict vegetarian, this is a must if you need a meal at Dollywood.

The homemade 'tater chips aren't too shabby, either.

Or you could just forget all that and go right for the cinnamon bread and no one would judge you for it.

Yeah, baby. Oh, yeah.
