
And the last maneuver, this "twist 'n' dive" inversion is a nice, powerful finale.

I wish we could have ridden Mystery Mine many more times than we did. There is so much to take in. But for the few rides we did get, the cross-country trip was well worth it.

This was another unexpected treat, the Mountain Slidewinder. Sort of in between a water slide and a flume ride, it's a terrain-hugging run in a carved-foam toboggan.

It's a wet, wacky blast; don't miss it, especially on a hot day. (Also, before I forget, Dollywood has a standard flume ride called Daredevil Falls and it's really keen, too, but I didn't get a shot of it.)
