Cedar Point 2011 Trip Report
Sept. 1, 2011

We roar through an artificial canyon, this way and that, the sense of speed magnified by the proximity of the rocky walls. That is some loco motion, caballeros, and most of it is wheel-melting goodness. However, your neck may not remember a moment or two here very fondly.

Tearing away from the canyon, Maverick leaps into the sky for some out-of-the-saddle airtime.

Yippee-ki-yay, melon farmer!

And then it's all about scorching curves just above the turf and a pair of loop-dee-do inversions.

The landscaping is top-notch, but you won't appreciate it much when it's just a blur.

Six Flags Magic Mountain's Scream? Take a good long look at this picture and hang your head in shame.

I think they call these "Twisted Horseshoe Rolls?" (I'm hungry for sushi, all of a sudden.) Whatever, they're fun and not too choppy.
