I find old cemetaries very calming. And Bodie's cemetaries are still active; the last burial here was less than a decade ago, if I am recalling correctly.

It was amazing and I am looking forward to visiting Bodie again.

We drove out of Bodie on another road, a "Four-Wheel Drive Required; Drive At Your Own Risk" deal. (There were a few hair-raising moments, but we made it through unscathed.) Along the way, we passed this remote mine entrance. COOL.

The last night of the trip, we stayed in Eureka, NV. Its "downtown" is literally a handful of active businesses along the main road. (We also took another off-road drive through the mountains of Eureka, where there is still plenty of mining going on. That also rocked.)

The last morning, I grabbed a few more shots of Eureka.
